Being the various journals, photographs, and remarks regarding my solo canoe trips into the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesotta.
I was introduced to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in 1971, when I made a group trip with the YWCA. That's right, with a "W". Back then we hauled aluminum canoes, cast iron griddles, and canvas tents. I went again the next summer, just before my senior year in High School.
Every year since 2002 I have made a trip to the BWCA... alone.
Be patient, I'm slowly getting around to putting all of it together.
